Poacher's
Poacher is my favourite beer. It is a bitter brewed by Whitbread to a strength of
3.4% ABV, which makes it an ideal session beer. And at £1.59 per pint (as at 18-Apr-2000), also
makes it the cheapest beer in the Pub which is why a lot of other people seem
to drink it.
Personally I drink it because I like the taste, don't like Whitbread Best,
can't cope with Flower's Original and prefer Bitter to Lager.
